PES is a team of multi skilled Design Engineers, based on the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) Sheffield, that utilise Computer Aided Design packages (CAD) to deliver a project. All our projects are based on a strong foundation of engineering principles and experience and we do not rely on CAD alone in order to design a project as CAD is purely one of the tools we use in the process.

Design for manufacture (DFM)
This is the process of designing or engineering a product to facilitate the efficient and practical manufacturing process in order to reduce time, cost and complexity. DFM will allow potential issues to be identified and resolved in the design phase which ultimately reduces cost and risk downstream. The design approach of a component will have an enormous effect on the cost of manufacture.
